Bridget's Story

This was a jaw-dropping experience at Coyote Tracks in NJ, run by Tom Brown Jr and the Children of the Earth Foundation. My 8-year-daughter Sam and I had an entire week of amazing outdoor adventures, a few of them somewhat dangerous. However, I agree that participating in these activities - in a more structured and controlled environment - teaches indispensable risk management skills that kids can apply later in life. For those interested in tracking skills, primitive outdoor living skills and more, check out Coyote Tracks on the east coast ( cotef.org ) and the unrelated - but equally amazing - Coyote Trails on the west coast in Ashland, OR ( coyotetrails.org).
